Intercultural Competence Workshop

Join Global Intersections for an interactive zoom workshop that explores Professor Janet M. Bennett research on intercultural communication from the University of Minnesota. Focusing on how to teach and understand cultural differences, this workshop will seek to highlight her three keys to cultural competence: curiosity, cognitive complexity, and empathy. This is also an opportunity to learn how the arts and dialogue are a powerful tool for engagement and how it is used effectively to understand individuals specific but not limited to their cultural context.
